Riot Games wins another 'League of Legends' domain case

Riot Games has won ownership of the domain LeagueofLegendsPorn.com, a domain that was first registered in February of this year.

The registered domain never hosted any content and only ever displayed a "coming soon" banner. According to a filing on the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a decision was reached in September by a panelist and the the domain owner was ordered to transfer the domain to Riot Games. The decision was uploaded to WIPO this week.

This isn't the first time the studio has fought for ownership of a domain. In August this year, Riot Games had success reclaiming the domain LeagueofLegends.co, a URL that redirected vistors to a Spanish porn site.
