A new server update for Battlefield 3's Armored Kill expansion hits tomorrow, bringing with it a slew of changes including tweaks to the gunship and the ability to remove the minimap in the game's hardcore mode.

The full list of Oct. 11 changes are over on the official Battlefield 3 site, but some highlights include moves to make the gunship a bit less overpowered. That means changes to how respawns for the vehicle happen and how long it takes.

Other big changes include improved server stability and a fix for the radio beacon exploit which allowed players to use the radio to get them to places they're not supposed to be able to go.
