Much of the focus on Nintendo's Wii U console has been on its GamePad. In today's Iwata Asks, the president of Nintendo Japan spoke to Nintendo's product development department to reveal more about the console body itself.
Among the areas covered include the Wii U's chip set, the physical casing of the console, the fan, the heat sink, as well as side-by-side comparisons with the original Wii console. The discussion also includes images of a transparent Wii U to show how all the parts fit together and the way heat – of which the Wii U generates three times the amount of the Wii – leaves the machine.
