BioWare unleashes Sovereign replica online

Mass Effect developer BioWare has begun taking orders for a replica of Sovereign, the flagship Reaper from the science fiction role-playing game series, according to a listing in the BioWare online store.

Designed through a collaboration between BioWare and Dark Horse Comics, its scene commemorates the destruction of an unknown alien world. Standing 18.5" tall, it includes a "sculpted base representing a devastated planetary surface, giving the replica a proportion that conveys its huge scale."

Production is limited to 1,000 individually-numbered pieces at $350 each. You can reserve your replica, each of which comes with "multiplayer bonus items," with a $100 deposit at the BioWare store.
