Dead or Alive 5 costume pack adds cat ears, formal wear, and a fiendish Ryu Hayabusa

The men and women of Dead or Alive 5 — but mostly the women — have all-new outfits available for download today, bringing bartender britches, sultry feline outfits, and casual overalls to Team Ninja's fighting game.

Tecmo Koei has released three new costume packs that expand the DOA5 wardrobe options for up to 11 of the game's 20 playable characters. The "Kitty Pack" allows Helena, Christie, Tina, and Lisa to dress up in cat ears and sleeved corsets. The "What A Character" pack gives Hitomi and Mila German barmaid clothing options, Rig a set of bartender britches, and Lisa a masquerade gown. The "Special Set" includes new casual outfits for Leifang and Kasumi, a fiend version of Ryu, and another revealing dress for Lisa.

Each costume pack costs $4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points, depending on platform. Buy all three packs as part of the Round 2 Costumes bundle for a discount, just 1040 Microsoft Points or $12.99. The Round 2 Costumes Full Set is available now on Xbox Live Marketplace, next week on the PlayStation Store.

You can do something window shopping in the full gallery, which shows all the new costumes for Dead or Alive 5.
