Don't Look Back released on iOS and Android, VVVVVV may follow
Don't Look Back, the retro-styled platformer from Terry Cavanagh, is available on iOS and Android, and VVVVVV may be next, according to a post on the developer's blog.
"One of the reasons I thought this port might be fun to do is that I'm considering an iOS and Android port for VVVVVV, so I'm seeing it as kind of a 'trial run,'" he wrote. "I don't know if it'll ever happen, and I'm not promising anything — but I'm definitely thinking about it."
Cavanaugh released VVVVVV in 2010 on PC and Mac, and it was later selected as one of the titles in the successful Humble Indie Bundle 3. Last year, the game was ported to the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
Apple initially rejected Don't Look Back from the iOS App Store because Cavanaugh referred to microtransactions as "nonsense" in the game's marketing text. Apple approved a revised submission that removed the text.
