Planetside 2 launches Nov. 20, new continent available on release
PlanetSide 2 will launch November 20th, Sony Online Entertainment announced during a live-stream playthrough of the upcoming free-to-play massively multiplayer shooter.
The title will expand to a third continent at launch called Amerish, which is described as a dark, swamp-infested area. Currently only the continents of Indar and Esamir are available. Also planned is a built-in live-streaming system, new vehicles, player-owned bases, and a number of new continents including Searhus, Oshur, and Hossin following the game's launch.
PlanetSide 2 is currently in beta. The game is set to release to PC.
