In NBA 2K13 TV spot, Michael Jordan knows what you want
2K Sports released a 30-second commercial for NBA 2K13 yesterday, in advance of today's launch of the only basketball game on the market this year.
Michael Jordan, who kicked off the franchise's recent run of success with his appearance on the NBA 2K11 cover, narrates the ad. The TV spot features pre-rendered versions of NBA superstars in action, and then transitions to a quick clip of gameplay footage before closing on a shot of the three cover athletes: Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, and Derrick Rose.
NBA 2K13 is now available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii, and PSP, with a Wii U version due out later this year. Check out our full preview of the gameplay changes in NBA 2K13, as well as our story on the recent history of the franchise.
