Amazon is selling Xbox Live Gold one-year subscriptions for $46.40, 23 percent off its original $60 price tag, according to the cards' listing on the retailer's website.

The site is also selling 3 month subscriptions at 7 percent off for $23.32. The deals are available for both physical gift cards and online codes, and although there is no expiration date on the discounts they tend to sell out quickly.

Xbox Live recently began its MyAchievements reward program, in which Xbox Live Gold members can trade their achievement points for Microsoft Points and unlock bonus content on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
