Street Fighter X Tekken Facebook app pits you against your friends

Capcom released a Street Fighter X Tekken Facebook game today to coincide with the release of the full PlayStation Vita title.

The Facebook game is free to play and does not require the Vita version of the game.

Players begin by selecting a friend from their Facebook friends list that they want to battle before choosing what kind of battle to take part in. The game lets players battle based on criteria such as who has the most "likes", who is the biggest trash-talker on Facebook, who is the biggest poser, who has travelled the most (judged by Facebook's check-in function), who types the most and who parties more.

The game does not require the opponent to also be playing – it determines the outcome of battles based on information it gathers from Facebook.
