SimCity delayed, scheduled to release Mar. 8 in Europe (update)

SimCity will be delayed until Mar. 8 in Europe, after being previously scheduled to release in February 2013, EA confirms.

The publisher offered no explanation for the delay and no North American release date is yet available. We have contacted EA for further information about the delay and the title's North American release and will update when a release date becomes available.

SimCity will release on both PC and Mac. Check out our E3 preview on the game's multiplayer mode to see how users will be able to share their city-wide burden with their closest friends.

Update: SimCity will release on Mar. 5 in North America, a representative told Polygon. EA offers no official comment to explain the delay.
