Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U day-one downloadable in Japan, uses half deluxe model's memory
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for the Nintendo Wii U will be available as a downloadable title on the console's launch day in Japan, and will be cheaper than the game's physical retail version, according to a listing on the official Tekken website.
The game will be available in Japan on Dec. 8 for ¥6980 (about $87) at retail and ¥6280 (about $78) digitally. The downloadable version takes up 16.7 GB of storage space, a little over half the deluxe model's memory.
Polygon has reached out to publisher Namco Bandai to ask if Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be available as a downloadable title in North America and Europe, and will update this story with more information as we have it.
