Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride now available on Windows 8

Halfbrick's Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride are now available on Windows 8 for PC, laptop and tablet, the studio announced this weekend.

The two games allow players to seamlessly switch between each other. Players can switch from Jetpack Joyride to Fruit Ninja with the swipe of a finger or mouse cursor, which pauses the first game and initiates the second.

Halfbrick has also integrated elements of both games into each other. During the loading screen of Jetpack Joyride a Fruit Ninja wheel appears to the side of the screen that allows the player to play a fruit-slicing mini-game while Jetpack Joyride loads.

Users will also be able to earn achievements, climb leaderboards and connect with friends through Xbox Live. Both games are currently available through the Windows 8 Marketplace.
