Classic role-playing title Chrono Trigger is now available on Android, Square Enix announced today.

The game is available through Google Play for $9.99, and includes the bonus Dimension Vortex and Lost Sanctum scenarios exclusive to the game's re-release for the Nintendo DS.

Chrono Trigger, originally published in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System by since-merged company Square, has been ported to PlayStation, DS, Wii Virtual Console, PlayStation Network, and iOS devices. The game has been out for Android in Japan since last fall, when it was announced at the 2011 Tokyo Game Show.
