Retro City Rampage arrives on PC October 9th, other versions to follow
VBlank's Retro City Rampage will release on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Vita, PC, Steam, and GOG on October 9th in North America, with the WiiWare and Xbox Live Arcade versions expected later this year, it was announced today on the official PlayStation Blogcast.
"I made the decision to release the game on each platform as soon as it's through certification rather than delay it any further in an attempt to achieve an absolutely simultaneous launch," said the game's developer, Brian Provinciano.
The North American release will cost $14.99. The PlayStation versions (also $14.99) feature Cross-Buy, so one purchase gets the buyer a copy of the game on both the PlayStation 3 and the PS Vita.
Those who buy the PC version of the game will receive a DRM-free download and their choice of a Steam or GOG key.
The PS3 and PS Vita versions will launch in Europe later this month.
