Nano Assault EX will feature new game modes and graphics

The Nintendo eShop release of Nano Assault, Nano Assault EX, will feature updated graphics and new modes, reports Siliconera.

Nano Assault EX is an action shooter that takes place in a microscopic world. Players navigate through alien cell clusters to fight infections and viruses. EX, which will release specifically for the Nintendo 3DS, features a brand new survivor mode, online rankings, and improved gameplay. Shin'en posted a trailer on their site for the 3DS release.

No release date has been announced, although the game is expected in both the U.S and Europe.
