League of Legends World Playoffs Semifinal matches postponed
The final games for the League of Legends Season 2 World Playoffs have been rescheduled due to a series of connectivity issues at the LA Live venue.
The announcement went live on the League of Legends site following a series of technical issues, which prompted a move to a more "secure" location. A new venue or date for the remaining quarterfinal and following semifinal matches has not yet been announced.
During an interview with Kotaku, in response to the connectivity problems, Chris Heintz of Riot Games said that they have "no reason to believe there was any outside interference or foul play at this time."
"Internet issues both local and upstream; our network guys are continuing to investigate the root case. By secure we meant more stable," said Heintz.
