Wii U demo unit video offers glimpse at possible GamePad interface
The Wii U GamePad's interface may feature a simple horizontal scrolling layout, according to a video of a public Wii U demo unit captured by Nintendo World Report.
The demo unit's linear layout for games resembling iTunes' Cover Flow interface. Swiping from left to right on the GamePad's screen scrolls through 19 available Wii U titles, including one playable demo: Rayman Legends.
The Wii U units in question are currently available to the public at the Nintendo World Store in New York.
We'll be able to see the final Wii U interface in less than six weeks — Nintendo will launch the console in North America on Nov. 18, starting at $299.99. Check out all our coverage from last month's Wii U event right here.
