Dishonored developers to celebrate launch with fans
Members of the Dishonored development team from Arkane Studios will celebrate the game's launch with fans in Austin tonight.
The launch event will begin at 8 p.m. CT at the Austin Arboretum GameStop. The first 45 people in queue will receive masks based on game characters. At 10 p.m., co-creative directors Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio and other members of the development team will arrive to talk with fans, sign items, and hand out prizes. GameStop's doors will open at 12:01 a.m. for the game's release in Austin and GameStops across the U.S.
Earlier this year, Polygon spoke with Dishonored's co-creative directors about the serendipitous paths that led to their collaboration and the game's development. Be sure to check out Polygon's review of Dishonored, a game that "delivers on the idea of player choice and consequences in spades."
