New York Comic Con will be getting a dedicated Monster Hunter room this weekend where attendees will be able to get the first Western hands-on for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

The room will be reserved for those who want to spend their Comic Con playing Monster Hunter. There will also be a playable Wii U version of the game and the organizers will be running Monster Hunter tournaments, with prizes including a copy of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate up for grabs.

The Friday sessions will be free play, while the tournament will be held on the Saturday and Sunday. The tournament schedule is below.

Saturday
1:00-1:40: Hunt the Lagombi (easy)
1:50-2:30: Hunt the Plesioth (medium)
2:40-3:20: Hunt the Brachydios (hard)

Sunday
1:00-1:40: Hunt the Lagombi (easy)
1:50-2:30: Hunt the Plesioth (medium)
2:40-3:20: Hunt the Brachydios (hard)

Times not listed on the Saturday and Sunday will be free play sessions.
