Original Doom 3, expansion, now on Steam
Doom 3 and its expansion, Resurrection of Evil, are now available in their original editions on Steam, Bethesda announced today via its blog.
The release is a response to feedback from fans. Following the remastered release of Doom 3, the BFG Edition, on Oct. 16, many wanted to play the game in its original form. Interested PC Steam users can now grab the game for $9.99, the expansion for $4.99, or both in the Doom 3 Pack for $12.99.
Doom 3 is a reboot of the original title. After a gateway to Hell opens on Mars, players must cut through waves of demons to prevent an invasion on Earth. The recently released BFG Edition featured enhanced graphics and features, as well as a checkpoint save system.
