NBA 2K13 Wii U developer diary discusses 'Gatorade biometric scan' feature on GamePad
NBA 2K13 on Wii U will utilize the console's GamePad controller to display information about players, including a real-time "Gatorade biometric scan" feature, according to a new developer diary.
The video, posted above, details how this latter feature works: By pointing the GamePad at the television screen, the player can see a real-time depiction of the athletes, which displays information about their fatigue levels over a live feed of the game. When not using the licensed scan, the GamePad will display information about the player that's currently handling the ball.
NBA 2K13 will launch on the Wii U alongside the console on Nov. 18.
