Skylanders Cloud Patrol, the mobile shooter component of Toys for Bob's Skylanders property, is free today on iOS.

The typically $0.99 game recently received an update that brought with it daily contests, new Skylanders and compatibility with Activate, publisher Activision's social platform that adds features like friends lists and achievements. It also allows players to save their progress in the cloud to play on multiple devices like the Kindle Fire, which received a special Cloud Patrol character earlier this month.
