Awesomenauts free-to-play on Steam this weekend, keep it for 50 percent off

Awesomenauts, Ronimo Games' 2D action-strategy game, will be free for Steam users to play all weekend, and will be 50 percent off its standard price for folks who want to keep the game for good.

A representative for Ronimo told Polygon that the free-to-play promotion would kick off tonight at 1 a.m. ET, and would run "for the weekend." Interested parties can add the game to their Steam collection permanently for $4.99 during this period, down from its normal $9.99 price tag.

For folks who find themselves with even more money to throw at Ronimo's Saturday morning cartoon-inspired title, Steam is also offering a bundle of nine themed costumes for various characters for $14.99.
