Far Cry 3 competitive multiplayer modes outlined in new trailer

The objective-based, brutal competitive multiplayer modes of Far Cry 3 are explained and demonstrated in a trailer released today by publisher Ubisoft.

The game's multiplayer offerings share many of the features of the main campaign, tasking teams of players with sieging control points and conquering the holdouts of their opponents. One mode has players set fire to enemy supply depots, then race to take down a radio antenna before that fire consumes the entire island. Far Cry 3 launches on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC Dec. 4.
