Rockstar announces multiplayer events for Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto 4

Rockstar Games will be holding multiplayer events for Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto 4 over the next three months, the company announced today.

The Rockstar Social Club sessions offer fans a chance to play and chat with the games' developers, earn bonus experience points and in-game content, watch livestreams on Twitch and win prizes such as Rockstar-branded gear.

Here's the schedule:

  Red Dead Redemption (including Undead Nightmare)

• Saturday, Dec. 15
  Max Payne 3
  PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
  11 a.m.-2 p.m. ET
• Friday, Jan. 11
  Max Payne 3
  PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
  4-7 p.m. ET
• Friday, Jan. 25
  Grand Theft Auto 4 and Episodes from Liberty City
  PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

All three games were on sale at various points during the past week of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, so if you picked up any copies, you'll want to mark those dates on your calendar.
