Unchained Blades sequel may come to U.S. after 3DS launch of original game

The sequel to Japanese dungeon crawler Unchained Blades, called Unchained Blades Exxiv, may become available in the U.S. following the 3DS launch of the original title, an Xseed Games representative confirmed on the studio's Facebook page.

"We're still struggling to get the original out on 3DS first," an Xseed representative wrote. "After that's finally out the door (hopefully December), then maybe we can start thinking about the sequel."

The first game in the series was originally released to PlayStation Portable devices in June of this year; However, an exact date for the North American release on Nintendo 3DS has yet to be revealed. A sequel on both platforms is said to feature a new cast of characters drawn by numerous well-known artists.
