Deathstroke and his many weapons join Injustice: Gods Among Us

Injustice: Gods Among Us players will be able to control one of the DC universe's more menacing supervillains when the game launches next April: Deathstroke, an assassin who dispatches foes with his longsword and assortment of guns.

As seen in the trailer above, Deathstroke keeps his combos going with a mix of melee and ranged attacks, allowing players with precise timing to push their opponents all over the arena. His arcing grenades allow him to manage aerial opponents, while folks on the ground are in danger of meeting the business ends of his pistols. In short: There's not really anywhere safe to be in a match against Deathstroke.

Deathstroke is just the latest villain to be announced for NetherRealm Studios' fighter, joining the ranks of The Joker, Harley Quinn and Solomon Grundy. Watch the video above to see what tricks he has up his sleeve.
