A brand new season of Kinect Sesame Street TV and Kinect Nat Geo TV will begin on Jan. 7, 2013 on Xbox Live, Major Nelson announced today.

Each series contains eight 30-minute episodes where families can watch and interact with the program via Kinect for the Xbox 360. While watching Kinect Sesame Street TV, players can interact with the characters on screen by helping them with tasks through motion control. In Kinect Nat Geo TV, players can interact with forests and engage with wild animals without ever leaving the livingroom.

Both series will be available for purchase for $29.99/2400 Microsoft Points and can be downloaded when users purchase a Season's Pass on Xbox Live. Individual episodes can be purchased for $4.99/400 Microsoft Points.
