PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale footage shows DLC characters Kat and Emmett in action

Upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale characters Kat and Emmett are shaping up to be formidable opponents, shown in action in a video posted recently by Revision 3 Games.

In the video above, Adam Sessler chats with Sony's Seth Killian on how Kat and Emmett will fare in the arena against classic PlayStation characters of yesteryear. According to Killian, Gravity Rush was a hit right away, which made Kat a perfect addition to the game. The buzz surrounding Starhawk brought Emmett into the ring, and Killian says that both characters bring highly unique move sets to Sony's brawler.

Check out the video above for more details and to see Kat and Emmett in action. The pair will be released as downloadable content in the near future, as well as a Heavenly Sword/Wipeout mash-up stage.
