22Cans announces Mac version of Godus
Godus, 22Cans' reimagining of the god game genre, is now in development on Mac, the studio announced today in a Kickstarter update.
Windows remains the primary platform, but 22Cans is also working on Mac, iOS and Android versions.
According to studio head Peter Molyneux, the entire studio is now working on Godus, having recently released an update for Curiosity: What's Inside the Cube?. In today's video update, Molyneux walks around the 22Cans office, showing off the "scrum wall" of recent and upcoming scheduled tasks as well as the ongoing development of terrain, animations, objects and people.
The next objective for the team, said Molyneux, is to develop a working prototype to show off to current and potential backers. The studio hopes to have it ready by the end of the week, since Godus' funding drive is getting down to the wire: As of today, only 10 days remain in the Kickstarter campaign. Godus backers have currently contributed just over £243,000 of 22Cans' £450,000 goal.
