THQ is giving away copies of Metro 2033 to Facebook fans
To prep gamers for the release of Metro: Last Light next year, THQ today announced plans to give away copies of the original Metro 2033 game through Facebook.
Starting today and continuing through Dec. 16, community members of the official Metro Facebook page will receive a code for a free copy of the game for Windows PC on Steam, while supplies last.
Based on Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky's book of the same name, Metro 2033 was released on Windows PC and Xbox 360 in 2010 to fairly positive reviews.
Metro: Last Light, a sequel to the game, but not the book, is due out for PS3, Windows PC and Xbox 360 release early next year.
