Surge set for release tomorrow on PlayStation Certified devices, developer taking questions
Surge, a match-three game from developer FuturLab is headed for release tomorrow on PlayStation Certified Devices, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog by the game's programmer, Jack Lang, who's also taking questions from aspiring developers.
FuturLab's junior programmer got his start as a Flash developer. He combined his experience with a bit of C# to create Surge in Sony's cross-platform PlayStation Mobile software development kit.
PlayStation Mobile launched in October. and allows programmers to write once and publish on Sony and compatible Android devices. Using the SDK allowed Lang to "to focus on the game rather than the specifics of each platform it supports," including the PlayStation Vita.
You can check out Surge's gameplay in the trailer above and ask Lang a question in the comments of his post on the PlayStation Blog.
