The Smiths get an 8-bit makeover
Artist Butcher Billy has given The Smiths an "extreme makeover" by crossing the band's album covers with video games.
Butcher Billy writes on his Behance profile that while the "monochromatic black and white world of pain of the seminal 80s band The Smiths" seemingly has nothing to do with the cheerful world of 8-bit games, he believes that a clash between the two can create something "outrageous and fun."
"Some of the songs will get a whole new meaning, while others take classic games to a slightly different concept," he writes.
