The Last of Us trailer explores the transformation from motion capture to zombie apocalypse

A video released today for The Last of Us highlights the process of transforming actors in a motion capture studio to survivors of the zombie apocalypse in Naughty Dogs's upcoming shooter.

The video focuses on Tess, played by Annie Wersching. Tess partners with the game's bearded protagonist, Joel, after society collapses. Check out the video above to see the pair arguing over a wretched proposal about what to with one of their companions. As it unfolds, you'll see how Naughty Dog transports the actors from a stage to the heart of the zombie apocalypse. The Last of Us is set for a May 7, 2013 release on PlayStation 3.
