Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus slated for Feb. 26 North American Vita release

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus will release Feb. 26 in North America on PlayStation Vita, according to the game's official website.

Developer Team Ninja announced the Vita port at an event during the 2012 Tokyo Game Show. The Vita version of the 2009 PlayStation 3 action game (which was itself an update of the 2008 Xbox 360 game Ninja Gaiden 2) will feature an easy mode that blocks automatically, touchscreen controls as well as a time-based Ninja Race mode and a Tag Mission mode that allows players to swap characters.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus' Feb. 28 Japanese release had previously been announced. According to the official website, it will be released in Europe on March 1.
