Namco Bandai and From Software have released new concept art from the upcoming sequel to Dark Souls showing off preliminary environment art, as well as character and weapon designs.

Included in this collection of concept art are images featuring chariots pulled by two-headed skeleton horses, weapons including a gnarled branch with a bat impaled on top head-first and what appears to be a dwarf with an enormous axe.

Dark Souls 2 was first announced for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early December, with a trailer premiering during the Spike Video Game Awards show. The upcoming title features a new protagonist, narrative and explorable world.
