PlayStation 2 classic fighting game Capcom vs. SNK 2, featuring dueling characters from Capcom's franchises and SNK series Street Fighter and King of Fighters, will hit North American shores "eventually," according to a post from Capcom's Christian Svensson on the Capcom-Unity forums.

Svensson confirmed that Capcom VS SNK 2 will be released in North America via the PlayStation Network. Also coming stateside is Capcom Fighting Jam, another PS2 title starring characters from Street Fighter, Darkstalkers and CPS 3's Red Earth arcade series battling with their respective in-game fighting systems. Both titles recently saw re-release on the Japanese PSN without updated online capabilities.

"The timing will be quite different though from Japan," he wrote. "More news will come 'next year.'"
