Rotastic headed to PSN tomorrow with 10 exclusive levels

Rotastic, developer Dancing Dots' single-button rope-swinging jewel-collecting game, is headed to the PlayStation Network tomorrow with 10 exclusive levels, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog from managing director Martial Hesse-Dreville.

You play as a knight in Rotastic, intent on swinging, avoiding pitfalls and collecting gems. The PlayStation 3 port includes 80 levels and local multiplayer that pits up to four players against each other. The game was also released on Xbox Live Arcade last year.

"The whole idea behind Rotastic is simple: we wanted to provide tons of fun while using a very simple game mechanic, and I think it worked," Hesse-Dreville wrote. "Using just one button, you latch your grappling hook onto the nearest anchor point, many of which are scattered around each level. This swings you around to propel your knight through the stage, catching gems while avoiding traps and dodging enemies."

Check out the trailer above to see some chivalrous swinging action.
