Panorama View, an app which will allow players to look around videos in 3D space, will be added to the Wii U eShop next spring as a paid download, Nintendo just announced.

The app, which was shown off during E3 2011 as one of the device's tech demoes, puts users in the middle of a video scene, allowing them to look around in all directions at their streaming surroundings. A sample video shown in the latest Nintendo Direct put players on the top of a double-decker bus, rolling through a guided tour of London.

No price for the app was announced, but a free demo for the app will be released alongside the full version when it launches next spring.
