Journey music composer nominated for a Grammy Award
Austin Wintory has received a Grammy nomination for his work on the score for thatgamecompany's Journey, the composer announced on Twitter today.
Posting to Twitter, Wintory expressed disbelief at his nomination for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media, which places him in the same category as John Williams for The Adventures of Tintin, Ludovic Bource for The Artist, Hans Zimmer for The Dark Knight Rises, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Howard Shore for Hugo.
