Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition now available on iPad for $9.99
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Overhaul Games' remake of BioWare's seminal Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, launched today on iPad for $9.99.
The mobile version is not a universal iOS app — it only supports the iPad — and it requires iOS 6, so it is not compatible with the first-generation iPad.
Players can pick up two additional characters, Dorn Il-Khan and Neera, for in-app purchases of $2.99 each. Two other in-app purchases are available: a new portrait pack and a new voice pack, for $1.99 each. The characters and voice pack are included in the Windows PC version, which launched on Nov. 28 for $19.99.
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is "coming soon" to the Mac App Store, and an Android version is also in development. Check out a gameplay trailer here, and 21 screenshots above.
