Team Meat unveils Mew-Genics title theme

The latest teaser for Team Meat's upcoming cat-centric title, Mew-Genics, has arrived, and this week brings the musicals fruits of the title theme, "Cat Chase."

According to Edmund McMillen, who posted the update, the game's music is being penned and composed by Jon Evans and Matthias Bossi, who voiced the narrator in The Binding of Isaac. Mew-Genics will feature a full album with more than 20 studio-recorded tracks, half of which will contain lyrics.

"We really wanted to make the game's music feature extended themes of the game or small stories within each song, kind of how Katamari did it in a way, except all our songs are about cats!" McMillen wrote.

Team Meat continues to reveal details about Mew-Genics on a weekly basis. Last week, McMillen wrote that players will never get the same cat twice.
