'Warframe' alpha gameplay trailer shows off 'The Darkness 2' studio's free-to-play shooter
Warframe's first alpha gameplay trailer is out and users can sign up to join its closed beta later in the year.
Warframe, the third-person free-to-play sci-fi shooter from the developers behind The Darkness 2, received today its first alpha gameplay trailer which offers a closer look at combat.
The upcoming PC title features procedurally generated multiplayer PvE, customization, and four-player co-op.
Users can now sign up for the game's closed beta which is scheduled to become playable this winter season. In addition, those who reserve their Warframe alias will receive an exclusive beta-only weapon.
Warframe was first announced earlier this year by developer Digital Extremes, and has users play as a member of a nearly extinct race called the Tenno who can access upgradeable exo-skeletons, or Warframes, to combat their former enemy masters.
