'Toki Tori 2' coming to Wii U in 1080p

Toki Tori 2 is coming to the Wii U, as well as iOS and Steam.

Toki Tori 2, the upcoming side-scrolling platformer, is headed to the Wii U, developer Two Tribes announced.

The Wii U version of the game will offer 1080p support and Off-TV Play, which will allow users to continue playing the title beyond their television.

The game will also allow players to take screenshots of creatures and objects using the GamePad, which are then added to an in-game encyclopedia called the Tokidex.

Toki Tori 2 will also launch on Steam and iOS, it was previously announced; however, no release date is currently available. The original Toki Tori was first released in 2001 for the Game Boy Color, and followed a young chick attempting to save his egg siblings by solving puzzles.
