Diablo 3 patch 1.0.7 will introduce dueling, class updates and more
Blizzard recently teased on its blog what would be coming in Diablo 3's latest patch, with dueling, class updates, crafting additions and monster power changes among the developments that are making their way to the game.
Posting to the Diablo 3 blog, Blizzard wrote that patch 1.0.7, which is expected soon, will introduce dueling, allowing players to "test their mettle against fellow Nephalem." The duels will "provide players a safe, opt-in location where they can fight one another for bragging rights (or maybe science) without the potential for griefing as it existed in Diablo 2."
The Wizard and Monk character classes are also having their balance improved, new crafting recipes are being introduced, and a new tier of gems is also being added.
Changes are also being made to monsters with the Reflects Damage mechanic being adjusted, and the damage from Molten being reduced while the damage from Plagued is being increased.
A detailed preview of what to expect in patch 1.0.7 can be viewed here.
