PlayStation Network down for maintenance until midnight ET

PlayStation Network is down for maintenance and should resume service around 12 a.m. ET, according to an update on the PlayStation Knowledge Center.

When trying to access services like PlayStation Network, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Home, players could receive a message saying "Sony Entertainment Network is undergoing maintenance." However, users who've signed into PSN in the last five days "may be able to play games online and enjoy apps such as Netflix, Hulu Plus and Music Unlimited during this maintenance period." If anything in the schedule changes, Sony will update users on the @AskPlayStation Twitter account.
