Singapore eSports announced the first season of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition version 2012 league begins Jan. 3 and runs until Feb. 24.

This season will feature seven of the country's top players who will compete to earn a trip to Final Round 16, scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia later in the year. Beginning tomorrow, the seven players will face off in a round-robin tournament, the five of five sets. These matches will be streamed via Twitch TV. Schedule updates will be available through Facebook.

The upcoming event features over $4000 in prizes.
