Metro: Last Light screenshots show crumbling cities and shady soldiers

Metro: Last Light's post-apocalyptic setting will be desolate, decaying and packed with some seedy-looking characters, as seen in a new batch of screenshots released today.

Last Light is the sequel to Metro 2033, based on the book of the same name by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. The screenshots above paint a picture of a world in ruin and filled with broken things, where every choice can either mean much or not matter at all.

Metro: Last Light was originally scheduled to release in late 2012, but THQ pushed the game back to March 2013 along with Company of Heroes 2 during the company's quarter earnings call last November.
