Video shows what Downton Abbey would look like on the SNES
A video released on YouTube by Bill Kiley reinterprets Downton Abbey as a 16-bit Super Nintendo game, complete with digitized characters and chiptune soundtrack.
Check out the video above to see the new footman explore the landscape to find cigars for the Earl of Crawley's fancy cigar party and undertake a mission to snoop on Mrs. Pantamore, Downton's cook. Kiley's mock-up version of Downton Abbey as interpreted by an SNES also includes a pillow fluffing mini-game, courtesy of some L and R button mashing.
If you like what you hear, you can download Kiley's nostalgia-inducing soundtrack from Bandcamp. He also wrote music for games from Molyjam last year.
